Review processor readiness, customer-facing amounts, failure behavior, and reconciliation before launch.
How payments fit the workflow
ScalerMD can connect a branded checkout and supported payment workflow to the patient, product, and order journey. The processor remains responsible for underwriting and the authoritative movement of funds.
The processor and configuration available to your account depend on the approved implementation. Do not assume that a processor shown elsewhere in the platform is active for your program.
Before accepting live payments
- Confirm that processor onboarding and any required underwriting are complete.
- Verify the correct legal entity, statement descriptor, settlement account, and authorized users.
- Confirm that the approved product configuration and customer-facing checkout details are current.
- Test successful and declined transactions using the approved test method.
- Verify what happens to the order after authorization, capture, failure, cancellation, void, and refund events.
- Confirm receipts and customer communications contain the approved brand and support information.
Reconcile payment and order activity
- 01
Start with the ScalerMD order
Review its payment state, timestamps, amount, and available processor reference.
- 02
Compare the processor record
Confirm whether the processor reports the same amount and event sequence.
- 03
Identify the mismatch
Separate a display or synchronization delay from an actual authorization, capture, settlement, or refund problem.
- 04
Escalate to the responsible owner
Use the secure support route and include non-sensitive identifiers and timestamps.
Never share payment credentials

Review the safe support options before sharing account context. Keep patient information and credentials out of ordinary email.
